John “Jack” Bienko is the Deputy Director for Entrepreneurship Education at the U.S. Small Business Administration Headquarters (SBA). He leads a team that creates, implements and oversees services for entrepreneurs through direct programming, contracts, grants and innovative partnerships. These services include SCORE’s national network of 11,000 business mentors, digital solutions like the award-winning SBA Learning Center, the acclaimed SBA Emerging Leaders executive series, the Agency’s wide reaching Encore Entrepreneurship program and cutting-edge public/private partnerships with global brands. He served as SBA’s Deputy Associate Administrator for Strategic Alliances and developed many of the agency’s highest profile partnerships and events. Mr. Bienko has championed economic development at a wide spectrum of organizations. These include neighborhood block clubs, universities, city/state governments, national advocacy groups, lending institutions, inter-governmental bodies, and foreign embassies. He is active in both civic and community organizations, including those that promote startups, public service, and charitable interests. Mr. Bienko entered Federal service as a Presidential Management Fellow after receiving an MS in Architecture & Planning from the University of Buffalo.
