Gabe Goodwin, Coordinating Producer of Social Production ESPN
Gabe Goodwin is the Coordinating Producer of Social Production for ESPN. Gabe leads SocialTV production for multiple shows, including SportsCenter, SportsNation, First Take and Numbers Never Lie as well as specialty shows for NFL, NBA & MLB. His Social production team is tasked with producing original social and digital content for all screens with the primary goal of driving ratings, relevance and revenue for TV show brands. They also manage YouTube channels for ESPN. His team developed and launched Colin’s New Football show, featuring digital-first content that later aired on TV. Social Production helped launch Live Twitter & Facebook Voting technology at ESPN and runs cross-platform programs like SportsNation’s Madden Cover Vote and ran #TitleTalk as part of ESPN’s recent BCS Championship MegaCast. Goodwin and team have won Webby and Cynopsis Awards for digital & social content. Prior to running Social Production, Gabe helped launch and develop SportsNation and First Take at ESPN. He came to ESPN in 2004 as a PA at Cold Pizza. He is a graduate of George Washington University and grew up in Mamaroneck, NY where he attended Mamaroneck High School. He lives in NYC and is a Jets fan (sadly).
