CORY COLE – SOCIAL MEDIA DIRECTOR, ICONIX BRAND GROUP
As the Social Media Director for Iconix Brand Group, the second largest licensing company in the world, with over $12 Billion in annual retail sales, Cory oversees the social media strategy and execution of more than 20 fashion, entertainment, and lifestyle brands such as Charles Schulz’s PEANUTS, Madonna’s Material Girl Collection, Sharper Image and Badgley Mischka. In his role, he continues to find social synergies with high profile partners ranging from retailers like Wal-Mart, Uniqlo, and Macy’s to powerhouse companies such as MetLife, ABC and Warner Bros. He also works closely on social strategies with the company’s current roster of celebrity spokespeople including Carly Rae Jepsen, Lucy Hale, Alessandra Ambrosio and Ashley Tisdale. Cory faces challenges in using new media to build brand awareness, brand loyalty, and to attract new customers for the purpose of growing each business. Cory received his B.A in communications from American University and also serves as the Social Media Director for The Candie’s Foundation, a non-profit organization that strives to shape the way youths in America think about teen pregnancy and parenthood.
